At DBSC our mission is to give you the guidance you need to maximise your athletic potential. Through comprehensive individualised coaching we aim to have you running faster, jumping higher and ultimately ready both physically and mentally, to perform at your very best.

We are experts on the TRACK, FIELD, COURT & in the WEIGHT ROOM.

Our unique expertise & experience allows us to create all encompassing athletic development & physical preparation training systems.

From Speed / Agility / Power / Strength / Conditioning / Injury resiliency, on the track, on the field, in the weight room, we have you covered.

Our sprint academy program provides comprehensive & individualized coaching to any track sprinter specializing in the short sprint events (60-200m). Whether you are a young novice just starting your journey in the sport of sprinting, or a developing sprinter looking to take your performance to the next level, we can help you maximise your speed potential.

Athletic Performance Coaching

Strength / Power / Speed

We provide comprehensive Athletic Performance and Strength & Conditioning Coaching to any athlete looking to take their performance to the next level.
Through the execution of individualised training systems, we aim to develop the foundational movement skill, strength, power and speed qualities that underpin overall athleticism.
Guided by the science of training, we harmonistically utilize a variety of training methods in order to optimally develop the technical/skill and physical qualities required for elite performance.
Our end goal is to develop an athletes foundational athletic ability, maximise an athletes speed and explosive power potential and ultimately build a robust athlete that is prepared for the rigors of their sport.

Individualized Training

Every athlete is different. For this reason we aim to individualise the training of all of our athletes. Starting with a comprehensive athletic assessment, we profile an athletes movement / athletic capabilities, strengths and weaknesses, building a picture of what makes them the athlete they currently are. From this initial assessment we build an individualised training programme and through a combination of both face to face coaching and online communication, we provide our athletes with the coaching and guidance they need to maximise their training results.

Face to face Speed & Athletic development coaching sessions are administered at local track & field / sports facilities. Our Athletes undertake their individual training programmes and receive coaching in a small group setting (Max of 6 athletes per group). Training programme components that our athletes undertake outside of our coaching sessions are designed around the equipment and facilities that the athlete has access to, whether that be a fully equipped gym or a few simple pieces of equipment at home.

With over a decade of experience training athletes, a University education and a relentless passion for pushing the boundaries of human performance, coach Dan Ball strives to find the perfect blend of experience in the trenches mixed with an advanced knowledge of the science of training, to produce training systems which are “guided by the science” and “driven by results”.

Dan specializes in the development of SPEED and the underpinning STRENGTH and POWER qualities required to maximise an athlete’s athletic performance.

Simply put he has spent the majority of his youth and adult life researching how to get himself and his athletes to run faster, jump higher, hit harder and throw further.

He has successfully worked with a variety of athletes from a number of sporting codes, helping them to maximise their performance, stay injury free and dominate on their respective fields of play. This list includes athletes across all playing levels from developmental high school athletes, through to elite level national and international competitors.
